Yan Zhang

Ph.D., Associate Professor

Introduction

Yan Zhang received a B.S. degree from Northwest Normal University in 1991. She then joined Prof. Xiaoquan Lu’s group at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Northwest Normal University as a graduate student and performed research in the field of the carbon paste electrodes modified in Analytical chemistry. She got her M.S. degree in the year of 2002. She thereafter pursued a Ph.D. degree in the group, developing electrochemical studies of interaction of Porohyrins and other medicines with DNA at solid/liquid interface.  She obtained her Ph.D. degree in June, 2007. She became an associate professor of chemistry at Lanzhou Medical College in July, 2002. Then She joined to College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lanzhou University as  an associate professor of chemistry in the year of 2004. Her current research interests include high sensitive and selective detection for bio-interface and reaction.
