Zhengyin Yang

Ph.D., Professor

Introduction

Zhengyin Yang received a B.S. degree from Lanzhou University in 1986. He then joined Prof. Liufang Wang’s group at Department of Chemistry, Lanzhou University as a graduate student and performed research in the field of Inorganic Chemistry. He got his M.S. degree in June, 1991. He thereafter went to Lanzhou University to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Prof. Rudong Yang’s group, developing novel complexes used as magnetic resonance imaging contrast. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in June, 1997 and became an associate professor of chemistry at Lanzhou University in1998. He was promoted to a full professorship in 2003. His current research interests include bioinorganic chemistry and nano-complex magnetic resonance imaging contrast.
