Yanlong Yang

Ph.D., Associate Professor


Yan-Long Yang received a B.S. degree from Sichuan University in 2010. He then obtained his Ph.D from the Kunming Instituete of Botany, Chinese Academy of Science, under the guidance of Professor Ying Zeng in 2016. After that, he went to Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Science as an assistant professor in professor Hongwei Liu's group (2016-2017). In 2017, he became an associate professor at College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lanzhou University. Since his Ph.D project, he has been working on the biosynthesis of natural products from high fungi. The main research interests in his group are discovery and biosynthesis of bioactive natural products from higher fungi.
