Ming Yang

Professor

Introduction

Ming Yang received a B.S. degree from Hubei University in 2008. He then joined Prof. Yong-Qiang Tu’s group at Lanzhou University as a graduate student and performed research in the synthesis of natural products. He got his Ph.D. degree in 2013. He then worked with Prof. Ang Li as a postdoctoral associate at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC), CAS in 2013. After that, he went to The University of Chicago and joined Prof. Scott A. Snyder’s group as a postdoctoral associate in 2015. He started his independent career as a professor at Lanzhou University in 2019. His current research interests include the synthesis of complex natural products, synthetic methodologies and medicinal chemistry.
