Introduction

The Shu lab is focused on the development of catalysts, catalytic reactions and methods for organic synthesis. Especially, we are developing nickel- and cobalt-catalyzed cross-electrophile reactions to address problems associated with conventional cross-coupling reactions. There are three main research topics in this field, including: (1) The reductive functionalization of C-O/C-N bonds; (2) Asymmetric cross-electrophile reactions of alkenes; (3) Organosilicon chemistry.
