Professor

Introduction

She Xuegong graduated from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University in 1999 with a doctorate degree. Later, he went to Colorado State University and University of Oregon (July 1999 - October 2002) in the United States for postdoctoral research and returned to Lanzhou University as a professor of organic chemistry in October 2002. In 2005, he was selected as the "Supporting Plan for Excellent Talents in the New Century" of the Ministry of Education, and was supported by the Outstanding Youth Fund of the State Fund Committee in 2011. He was awarded 2007 "Thieme Chemistry Journal Award"; 2009 "Gansu Science and Technology Leading Personnel"; 2010 Asian Core Program Lectureship Award, 2013 "Gansu Province Excellent Expert", 2013 "Asian Core Program" Lectureship Award, and the first prize of Natural Science in Gansu Province in 2015. His current research interest includes asymmetric total synthesis bioactive natural products and development of new reactions to improve the synthetic efficiency. He has published more than 130 papers in  well-known international academic journals, such as J. Am. Chem, Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Org. Lett., J. Org. Chem. etc.
