Hong Gao


Hong Gao received a B.S. degree from Jilin University in 2004. She then joined Prof. Jingyao Liu’s group at the Institute of Theoretical Chemistry, Jilin University to pursue a Ph.D. degree and performed research in mechanisms and dynamic properties of several fluoroalkane reactions. She got her Ph.D. degree in June, 2009. She thereafter went to the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Prof. Can Li’s group as a post-doctor, working on Raman optical activity of the chiral biomolecules. She became an associate professor of chemistry at Lanzhou University in October, 2011. Her current research interests include the direct catalysis decomposition for N2O and direct oxidation of benzene to phenol by N2O over metal-organic frameworks.
