Yongqi Liang

Associate Professor


Yongqi Liang obtained his Ph.D. (physical chemistry) degree at Peking University in 2005. Since then (from 2005 to 2014), he has been a postdoc researcher at three different universities of TUDelft, University of Wyoming and Umeå University across the world. His research area spans from low-dimensional nanostructures, photocatalysis, semiconductor photoelectrochemitstry and combinatorial screening of materials. In Sweden, his research has been mainly on the fabrication of the nature-inspired oxygen evolution catalyst with semiconducting oxide photoanodes for the artificial leaf fabrication. In 2014, he joined Dalian University of Technology as an associate professor. There he started to research on the perovskite solar cells with unique angles of research in the field. He then joined Lanzhou University in Nov. 2018. Currently, his research primarily focuses on highly efficient perovskite solar cells and artificial leaf for solar fuel production.
