On March 26, the Party Committee of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering helda mobilization meeting for studying Party history and a signing ceremony for the pairing of the party branch of the Graduate College and the Party branch of the inorganic chemistry faculty and laborin the 101 lecture hall of the new chemistry building.Chen Yantong, Director of the Graduate Work Department, Zhang Haibo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Liang Yongmin, Dean, Tang Yu, and Hui Xinping, Vice Deans attended the meeting.Xu Pengbin and Zhang Congshan, the second supervision group of the school's Party history learning, attended the meeting to supervise.Party members of the Party branch of the Graduate College, 23 Party branch committees of the college, and representatives of some party members attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Jia Jing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the college.

Zhang Haibo conveyed the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Party History Learning Mobilization Conference and the spirit of the school Party Committee Secretary Ma Xiaojie’s speech at the school mobilization meeting,interpreted the "Party History Learning Work Plan of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering",deployed the Party history education and study work of the college.He requested that all party members of the college should earnestly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Party History Learning Mobilization Conference,carry out party history learning and education work in accordance with the unified deployment of the Party Central Committee, accelerate the modernization of education, promote the construction of first-class chemistry disciplines, and make new and greater contributions to the education of people’s satisfactionwith solid learning,celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with practical actions and outstanding achievements.

Professor Liu Xianchun from the College of Marxism gave a report on the theme of Party history learning and education entitled "Promoting the Revolutionary Tradition, Keeping the Original Heart and Taking the Mission".Focusing on the four aspects of learning history to understand the truth, learning history to increase credit, learning history to respect morality, and learning history to practice,Teacher Liu interpreted the important significance, fundamental principles and scientific methods of learning Party history conveyed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and provided scientific guidance for learning party history well.Combining his own learning experience, he drawn extensive quotations from side to side, explained profound theories in simple language, and guided everyone to study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important exposition on learning Party history.He suggested that we should learn the spiritual strength of never forgetting our original intention, keeping our mission in mind, and striving forever through in-depth study and continuous comprehension.

Chen Yantong, Director of the Graduate Work Department and Secretary of the Party Branch of the Graduate College, and Tang Yu, Deputy Dean of the College of Chemistry and Secretary of the Party Branch of Inorganic Chemistry, introduced the background of the team and the construction of the Party branches of both sides.Subsequently, they signed an agreement on the joint establishment of the Party branches.
