The College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering won good results in the first National Textbook Construction Award

On October 12, the National Textbook Committee issued the "Decision on the First National Textbook Construction Award" (National Textbook [2021] No. 6), and held the National Textbook Work Conference and the First National Textbook Construction Award Commendation Meeting.

The College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering won good results in the first national textbook construction awards. Among them, "Organic Chemistry Experiment (Fourth Edition)" won the second prize of higher education, and the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering won the title of "National Textbook Construction Advanced Group".

The good results achieved in the first National Textbook Construction Award this time is an important manifestation of the colleges comprehensive implementation of the partys educational policy, adherence to the fundamental task of Lide and cultivating people, and strengthening and improving the requirements for the construction of textbooks in colleges and universities under the new situation. In the future, the college will take the opportunity of the first National Textbook Construction Award to give full play to the demonstration and leading role of excellent textbooks and advanced collectives, summarize the experience of textbook construction, carry out innovations in the system and mechanism of textbook construction, and accelerate the high-quality development of textbook construction

The National Textbook Construction Award is awarded every four years. It is sponsored by the National Textbook Committee and undertaken by the Ministry of Education to commend and reward outstanding textbooks and collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of textbooks and is the highest award in the field of textbook work in my country. The first National Textbook Construction Award has three awards for national excellent textbooks (basic education, vocational education and continuing education, and higher education), national textbook construction advanced collective, and national textbook construction advanced individual awards. After review, a total of 999 national excellent textbooks, 99 national textbook construction advanced collectives, and 200 national textbook construction advanced individuals were selected.
