Graduate students of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering participated in the long-distance torch relay to commemorate the 86th anniversary of the "December 9th" Movement

To commemorate the 86th anniversary of the " December 9th " student anti-Japanese patriotic movement, to encourage young students to inherit their patriotism and serve the motherland, Lanzhou University held a research growth and running relay race to commemorate the 86th anniversary of the "December 9th Movement" in the West District of Chengguan Campus on December 8.Our graduate student team and Professor Xie Zhixiang's guidance team participated in the competition.

At 14:30, under the leadership of the torch symbolizing hope, the long-distance running relay race began. Before the game, the participating athletes carried out sufficient warm-up activities and devoted themselves to the competition with full enthusiasm. Nie Jianyi, deputy secretary of the party committee and deputy dean of the college, Jia Jing, deputy secretary of the party committee, and Wang Pengju, a postgraduate counselor, were present to cheer the athletes participating in the competition.

In this relay competition, the teachers and students of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering worked hard and strived for excellence, and won the eighth place in the research growth torch relay. Xie Zhixiang's guidance team won the fourth place.

Bravely shoulder the mission of strengthening the country and live up to the youth. This long-distance running relay activity carried forward the great " December 9th " patriotism and demonstrated the positive, energetic, and enterprising spirit of graduate students in the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, further guide young students to remember history, work hard, devote themselves to the great cause of strengthening the country, and bravely shoulder the mission of the times.
