On the afternoon of December 10, the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering held the 2021 class teacher work meeting in the 201 meeting room of the Second Chemistry Building. Vice-President Cao Hong, Minister Chen Yantong of the Ministry of Research and Industry, Vice Minister Song Weiguo of the Ministry of Education and Industry, members of the college leadership team, all head teachers and counselors attended. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Haibo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College.

Jia Jing, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee, reported on the work development of the Head Teacher of the College of Chemistry, and Nie Jianyi, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, interpreted the "Working Methods of the Head Teacher of the College of Chemistry" and other institutional documents.Three outstanding class head teacher representatives Chen Xiaoming, Zeng Huiying and Xu Guoqiang shared their experience in class work with their own characteristics. Participants had full communication on class work such as the responsibilities of the class teacher, the mental health of students, the simultaneous implementation of the five educations, and the improvement of students' scientific research literacy.

Cao Hong awarded a certificate to Professor Xingguo Chen, the representative of the outstanding class teacher,Chen Yantong and Song Weiguo presented the "Work Log of the Head Teacher of the College of Chemistry" to the representative of the head teacher.

Song Weiguo pointed out that the work of the head teacher of the College of Chemistry is warm, focused, systematic, and effective. The Ministry of Science and Engineering is preparing to implement the construction of a long-term mechanism for class three-level linkage in the whole school. It is hoped that the College of Chemistry can take the lead and give a better demonstration and leading role.

    Chen Yantong pointed out that the College of Chemistry has a pure and strong learning atmosphere and a sound talent training system. It is necessary to strengthen the function of the grass-roots postgraduate organizations and actively promote the integration of the postgraduate party, league and class. He emphasized that the work of the class teacher must be enthusiastic, and coordinate with the educating force such as the tutor, the research team, etc., to better implement the talent training requirements.
