On December 31, 2021, the 3rd Gansu annual meeting of the analytical chemistry and the 2nd Gansu young scholars forum on analytical chemistry was held at Northwest Normal University. Through a combination of online and offline methods, the conference invited Prof. Wang Leyu and Prof. Zhang Chunyang, academician Jiang Guibin, winners of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, researcher Qiu Hongdeng and Prof. Nie Zhou, winners of the National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Young Scientists Fund, and associate professor Li Xue from Jinan University to make special presentations. At the same time, research institutes related to analytical chemistry in Lanzhou were also invited to attend this annual meeting. Professor Zhang Haixia, Researcher Zeng Zhicong, Researcher Liu Bowen, Associate Professor Ren Cuiling, Associate Professor Liu Xiaoyan, Ye Associate Professor Weichun, Associate Professor Lv Wenjuan, and Associate Professor Zhang Huige attended the meeting. The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Lu Xiaoquan, a distinguished professor of the "Changjiang Scholars Award Program".

Associate Professor Ren Cuiling gave a report entitled "Research on the Construction and Detection Application of Multi-signal Optical Probes" at the conference, and introduced the significance, experimental ideas and main research methods of constructing multi-signal nanoprobes in detail, then she made an in-depth discussion on the experimental results and detection mechanism; Researcher Liu Bowen made a report entitled "Exploration of SERS Technology in Quantitative Analysis and Detection Application", and introduced the current progress in the research of "quantitative detection" and "weakly adsorbed molecule detection" that need to be solved urgently in the field of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), using the large-area uniform surface plasmon array developed in the laboratory as the SERS substrate that provides high sensitivity and uniformity at the same time, and using the polydopamine (PDA) film as the molecular capture layer, aiming to solve the problem of quantitative detection of weakly adsorbed molecules, and explores the scope of application and working mechanism of PDA-SERS substrates; Associate Professor Zhang Huige gave a report titled "Detection of Disease Marker-Related Proteins Based on Isothermal Nucleic Acid Amplification Technology", focusing on the research on the combination of various isothermal nucleic acid amplification methods and different detection techniques to improve the sensitivity and detection of analytical methods and detection flux, in order to achieve highly sensitive and highly specific detection of trace disease-related proteins in complex living systems; Associate Professor Ye Weichun gave a report titled "SERS Spectral Quantitative Analysis Research", focusing on the precise control of the structure, morphology and crystal form of the substrate materials, to achieve high sensitivity, high selectivity and rapid detection of illegal additives in food and drugs.

In order to further improve the scientific research level of analytical chemistry in Gansu Province and provide a scientific research exchange platform for scientific research workers in Gansu Province, it was decided by the meeting that the 2022 Gansu Provincial Annual Conference on Analytical Chemistry will be hosted by Lanzhou University.
