In order to implement the work requirements of the General Office of the State Council on "Safe Production Month", implement the spirit of the fire prevention and control work conference of the Ministry of Public Security and the Fire Bureau, promote fire safety publicity and the construction of the "four capabilities" of fire safety in the college, and improve teachers and students' awareness of fire prevention, To eliminate fire hazards and build a harmonious and safe campus, the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the Security Department and the College of Life Sciences jointly held a fire escape and fire-fighting drill on June 23. 

At 4:00 p.m., under the command of the staff of the security office, smoke bombs were ignited in the entrance hall on the first floor, east and west, in the second chemical building of the college，and the fire alarm was triggered in time. According to the requirements of the escape drill, teachers and students on each floor covered their mouths and noses, bent over to support the wall, and evacuated in an orderly manner to the designated safe area under the guidance of the drill evacuees. 

The staff of the fire company explained the use of dry powder fire extinguishers to teachers and students, and instructed teachers and students to carry out fire extinguishing drills with dry powder fire extinguishers.

This drill activity not only enhanced the fire safety awareness and escape skills of the teachers and students of the college, but also accumulated the experience of "fighting fire", which achieved the expected purpose and good results.
