On the morning of April 20th, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering College held a mobilization and deployment conference on studying and implementing Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The conference took place in Room 201 of the new Chemistry Building in the West Zone of the Chengguan Campus. The leadership team of the college and all party branch secretaries attended the meeting, along with the fourth group leader of the university's touring guidance team, Yang Hongting, and member Li Jihong. The conference was presided over by the Party Secretary of the college, Du Shengyi.

During the meeting, Deputy Party Secretary Jia Jing led the study of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the working conference on studying and implementing Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

Du Shengyi explained the implementation plan for the thematic education in the college, interpreted the research topics for the members of the leadership team, and mobilized and deployed the implementation of the thematic education in accordance with the requirements of our university.

Yang Hongting, the leader of the guidance team, delivered a speech in which he introduced the responsibilities and tasks of the university's guidance team. He acknowledged the preparatory work done by the college party committee and provided three suggestions for effectively implementing the tasks of thematic education: Firstly, he emphasized the importance of raising political awareness and having a deep understanding of the significance of carrying out thematic education, striving to create a new chapter in thematic education. Secondly, he stressed the need to accurately grasp the goals and tasks of thematic education, integrating it with the central work of the college to promote the improvement and effectiveness of the college's work. Lastly, he emphasized the importance of combining prescribed actions with innovative approaches, closely aligning thematic education with the practical needs, and ensuring that thematic education is lively and vibrant.
