On the afternoon of December 14th, Professor Gou Xiaohua, Vice President of Lanzhou University, led a delegation to conduct research on undergraduate education and teaching work at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. The college's leadership team and key personnel from the office participated in the research meeting, which was chaired by Du Shengyi, Secretary of the College Party Committee.

During the meeting, Professor Hui Xinping, Vice Dean, delivered a report on undergraduate education and teaching work under the theme of "Strengthening Foundation, Upholding Tradition, and Cultivating Outstanding Innovative Talents in Chemistry." He covered four aspects: the basic situation of undergraduate teaching in the college, existing problems, next steps and progress in accreditation preparation. Jia Jing, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee, presented on the "Five Ones" student cultivation system. Secretary Du Shengyi and Dean Liang Yongmin put forward suggestions and opinions on educational and teaching work, undergraduate internationalization education, and faculty team construction.

Vice President Gou Xiaohua highly praised the college's undergraduate education and teaching work and provided specific guidance during the meeting. She acknowledged the excellent tradition and achievements of undergraduate education and teaching in chemistry at Lanzhou University, particularly in talent cultivation, curriculum development, and teaching outcomes. Vice President Gou expressed her hope that the college would continue to serve as a pioneer in the university's educational reform, fully leveraging its role as a benchmark and leader.She emphasized the upcoming undergraduate education and teaching accreditation assessment and urged the college to seize this opportunity to promptly summarize experiences, identify developmental constraints, deepen educational and teaching reforms, and enhance teaching management capabilities. Additionally, she stressed the importance of focusing on talent cultivation objectives, strengthening international exchanges and cooperation for undergraduate students, and exerting full efforts to improve the quality of talent cultivation and independent training capabilities.
