Guosheng Huang

Introduction

Guosheng Huang, majored in Rare Earth, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Lanzhou University in July 1982. He graduated from Lanzhou University in July 1985 with a Master of Science in Organic Science and a Ph.D. in 1998. Then he engaged Postdoctoral research work in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Taiwan, August 2002-August 2003. In 1985, he taught at the Department of Chemistry, Lanzhou University (now the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering). He has served as director of the teaching and research section, deputy director of the department and vice president, at present. He is the director of the Institute of Applied Chemistry. His current works include the teaching and research of organic chemistry and applied chemistry, up to now, more than 80 academic papers have been published. He hosted and participated in more than 20 scientific research projects and received Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award three times. He won the award for the young teachers of colleges and universities in Gansu Province in 1994.
