Shuyan Li

Ph.D., Associate Professor

Introduction

Shuyan Li received a B.S. degree from Department of Computer Science of Lanzhou University in 2003. She then joined Prof. Xiaojun Yao’s group at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Lanzhou University as a graduate student and performed research in the field of Chemoinformatics and Bioinformatics. She got her Ph.D degree in the year of 2010. During this period, she went to Informatics school of Indiana University in the U.S.A. to pursue further study on Bioinformatics as a joint Ph.D in Prof. Predrag Radivojac’s group, focusing on studies of protein post-translation modification. Right after she got her Ph.D degree, she became a lecturer in College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Lanzhou University. She was promoted to an associated professorship in 2016. Her current research interests include computer aided drug discovery and computer aided medical diagnosis system.
