On November 29th, the Fourth Graduate Student Congress of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of LZU was held in the 101 lecture hall in the 2nd Chemistry Building of LZU. A total of 45 people, including Zhang Haibo( Secretary of the Party Committee of the College), Liang Yongmin(Dean), Jia Jing( Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee), Li Ting( Secretary of the Youth League Committee), all members of the Graduate Student Union and representatives of the Graduate Student Congress attended the conference. The conference was hosted by Zhang Yuwen and Li Zeyu, graduate students representatives of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

At 9 am, the conference officially opened with the solemn national anthem. Jia Jing, deputy secretary of the college’s party committee, delivered an opening speech on behalf of the party committee of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. She conveyed the deep concern and eager expectation of the party committee of the college to all the delegates and the Graduate Student Union, and put forward the following three expectations for them, to firm ideals and convictions, improve cultivation to "strengthen ideology ", to give full play to role models , to fulfill obligations and respect duties and " Strictly follow the rules ", to deepen service content, to focus on the development and" Discuss effectively ".

After the opening ceremony, all representatives of the Graduate Student Union held the first conference. Jiang Shan, a member of the Presidium of the 3rd College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, gave a work report entitled "Strengthening quality internally, building image externally; unity and enterprising, seeking truth and being pragmatic", which reviewed and summarized the work of the Graduate Student Union in the past two years and make an outlook for the future work of the Graduate Student Union. Zhao Ruiyi, a member of the Presidium of the 3rd College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, announced the revised " Regulation of the Graduate Student Union of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University" (discussion draft).

In the group discussion stage, the participants had a lively discussion on the work report, the revision of the Regulation of the Graduate Student Union (discussion draft), the presidium election method (draft), and the summary of proposals.

At 10:30 am, the 2nd conference of the Presidium deliberated and decided to submit to the congress for voting "Work Report of the Graduate Student Union of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University", " Regulation of the Graduate Student Union of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University (Discussion Draft)", the list of candidates for the fourth Presidium , took the report of the proposal into consideration, then integrated and reviewed the results of the group discussion.

In the subsequent 2nd conference, the " Work Report of the Graduate Student Union of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University " and the " Regulation of the Graduate Student Union of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University (Discussion Draft)" were reviewed and approved. The fourth presidium of the Lanzhou University Graduate Union was voted by all representatives. The whole conference was orderly and solemn, and all representatives participated wholeheartedly and fulfilled their duties.

At 11:30 am, the Fourth Graduate Student Congress of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of LZU ended successfully with the singing of all the participants of the Communist Youth League song.
