In celebration of the 114th International Women's Day, and to fully leverage the exemplary role of advanced female faculty and staff in the college, inspiring them to promote the spirit of self-esteem, confidence, self-reliance, and self-improvement, the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Union held an artistic flower arrangement themed event titled "Fragrant Blossoms of Femininity, Women Pioneering Towards the Future" in the conference room on the fifth floor of the Chemical Information Building in the afternoon of March 8th. More than 40 female faculty and staff from the college were invited to "embrace beauty and bloom in their prime".

The union of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering extends festive greetings to all female faculty and staff, expressing profound respect to those female faculty and staff who have long been driving the development of the school and the college.

The event invited Teacher Chang Yuan from the Party Committee's Graduate Work Department to provide explanations on floral art knowledge and guidance on illustration art. Teacher Chang Yuan elaborated on artistic flower arrangement techniques such as flower selection, care, preservation, and arrangement, as well as explained the various flower languages and blessings. She also led everyone in experiencing flower arrangement creation on the spot. During the process of flower arrangement creation, female faculty and staff exchanged ideas and shared, fully showcasing individual creativity and enjoying the joy of the festival. The scene was filled with a warm and joyful atmosphere. Under the skillful hands of the teachers, beautiful floral artworks with diverse styles and unique characteristics were presented to everyone.

This flower arrangement activity seamlessly integrated heart and beauty, enhancing mutual communication among female faculty and staff, improving hands-on abilities, and igniting enthusiasm for life. It received wide acclaim from female faculty and staff and promoted the vigorous development of the college's spiritual civilization construction. After the event, the teachers expressed great joy and benefited greatly from the activity, feeling the care and love from the college towards female faculty and staff.

In 2023, under the leadership of the college party committee, female faculty and staff across the entire institute, leveraging their expertise in various professional fields, played indispensable roles in teaching, research, management, and service. They made significant contributions to the development and construction of the institute, embodying the spirit of "women's responsibilities" through their practical actions.
